Hello and thank you for visiting “Totally Free Credit Repair.com”. My name is Pascal Mansell and I am your credit expert.
I’m going to give you many different insider secrets, and tricks of the trade in repairing your personal credit.
I will show you how not only to repair your credit but also, how to go from a person with poor credit to a person with a 700 + FICO score.
I will also, show you how to establish business lines of credit, and corporate credit so that you can protect your personal credit from ever being damaged again.
One of the first things you should know is that the fair credit reporting act gives you many different ways to clean up your credit legally, many different ways to protect you from credit collection agencies and even the credit bureaus.
The Fair Credit Reporting Acts laws give you the right to know what information is held about you without charge by the credit bureaus, if you’ve been denied for credit within the last 60 days.
You also have the right to have information you dispute verified and corrected or removed if it is inaccurate or unverifiable.
Verified information is going to be an important key for you to remember when cleaning up your credit because if they can’t verify it and give the name, address, and phone number of the person they verified the negative information with the credit bureaus must remove it from your credit profile.
You also have the right to place a 100 word statement on each one of the credit bureaus credit report if negative information is verified and not removed so that you can state your side of the story.
You also have the right not to have adverse or negative information listed on your credit report for more than 7 years, or 10 years for bankruptcies.
The consumer credit reporting act reform of 1996, this legislation was put together by congress to give the consumer more protection, some of the tenants of the act you should know:
Credit bureaus must promptly investigate disputes usually within 30 days and within 5 days after the investigation send the consumer a revised credit report with corrections.
The credit bureaus must report and share corrections with the other bureaus.
Credit bureaus can not reinstate deleted information unless that information has been certified by the creditor.
If the creditor certifies the information and furnishes it to the bureau, the credit bureau must notify the consumer with the name address and phone number of the creditor.
The credit bureau must allow the consumer,” that means you,” to add an explanation to any remark on the credit report.Anyone who supplies information to the credit bureaus can not provide information they know is inaccurate.
If a mistake is made and brought to the attention of the creditor they must immediately correct the mistake with all the credit bureaus.
If a creditor investigates a dispute and finds it correct, they must report it as being in dispute by the consumer.Credit reports are free if, you are unemployed or on public assistance or a victim of fraud.
Credit reports are also free if you’ve been turned down for credit or insurance in the last 60 days if you were turned down based on information in you credit report.A creditor must report an account closed when consumer closes his or her report.
If your employer wants to look at your credit report, they must first get your permission in writing to do so. And that goes for perspective employers as well.
If action is taken against you by your employer or perspective employer because of information in your credit report the employer or perspective employer must provide a copy of the credit report and a description of credit rights.Consumers who request their credit report must be shown the full trade names of anyone who has requested their credit report in the past 2 years. If requested the credit bureaus names, addresses and phone numbers who made inquiries into your credit.
Credit reporting agencies must offer toll free numbers to anyone wishing to be removed from lists allowing prescreening of their credit report.
Bureaus must share requests with other bureaus concerning consumers want to be removed from pre screening. “This just simply means you can stop the credit bureaus from selling your information to companies who are trying solicit you for credit cards and other services”If a credit or insurance company that uses pre screening to pre approve and select customers, those customers must be made a firm offer of credit to anyone who meets the initial pre screening offer.
Unless your situation that means your credit, has changed since they first pre screened your credit. But get this; creditors must follow through on pre approval offers. If you have charged off debts, the time period for charged of debts is 7 years. That’s the maximum time allowed for that to be allowed on your credit report.
In the past the reporting period for collections would not start until the creditor got around to reporting it.
That could be several months or a year later, which meant that the 7 years would at the time that reported it to the credit bureaus, but not anymore.
The reporting period starts 180 days after the payment should have been made.A Few Secrets You Should KnowWhenever you apply for any type of credit, in most cases, a credit report is pulled from at least one of the 3 major credit bureaus.
These credit bureaus collect and maintain information on a majority of us Americans. They receive your personal information from the same people who grant you credit.
So remember this, for the most part they only know what you tell them, or what you allow them to know when you apply for credit.
The credit bureaus have arrangements with the credit granters to inform the credit bureaus of everything that occurs in your relationship with the credit grantor.
That means every time you make a late payment, no payment, or whatever it might be, good bad or indifferent, they report that information to at least one of the major credit bureaus and that gets added to your credit history.
The credit bureaus gather this information, and compile it to create your credit history. Some people say that the credit bureaus don’t share the information, but I believe that they do.
One of the things that you should realize and probably already know if you have bad credit is that the worse your credit is the higher rater of interest you will pay and you might not even be given credit.
Here are some of the steps you’re going to have to take to start improving your credit situation.
First, I want you to go to all 3 of the major credit bureaus and order on line, a copy of your credit profile and your credit score so that you know where you’re at and how far you need to go to be where you want to be.
After you’ve ordered your credit report separately from each one of the bureaus and have reviewed them start making notes, picking it apart listing the items that you know that are yours and correct, and those that you know aren’t yours and incorrect.
Once you have done this, then you can start on deleting the bad stuff.
You are going to first remember that you should let old debts not be bothered, leave them alone if it’s more than 4 plus years old, simply because a debt older than 4 years old showing on your credit report doesn’t carry as much negative weight with creditors as debt that may be less than 4 years old.
If you start off by contacting the initial credit grantor instead of the collection agency and working out either a payment arrangement, or my favorite a one time discounted payoff, with the agreement from them that they will remove any negative listing on your credit reports.
That means completely expunging any negatives through all 3 bureaus.
The beauty of using this technique of going directly to the primary credit grantor instead of the collection agency is that they the collection agency may have been the one’s that have placed the negative information on your credit bureau, but don’t own the debt that was placed on your credit profile.
Once the primary has been paid and you contact the collection agency and show them proof of such payment they no longer have any grounds to keep the negative information on your credit bureau.
I myself had a bad debt with Pacific Bell Telephone Company who ultimately turned the debt over to a collection agency who not only was charging me for the initial debt, but added on a bunch of charges of their own.
So I simply found the old information on what I owed Pacific Bell, sent Pacific Bell a check for what I owed them and once they cashed that check, showing that I had paid them in full.
I contacted the collection agency who had to immediately remove the negative information from all 3 of the major credit bureaus.
I did the same exact thing with Adelphia Cable.
One of the other ways that I had negative information deleted from my credit bureaus is by calling up the collection agencies and simply agreeing to pay them a percentage or sometimes in full.
If they send me a letter stating that upon receipt of payment, that they will expunge all 3 credit bureaus of any negative information that they have place on my credit reports.
And what I like doing best and the cheapest route is simply to dispute any negative information, by sending a registered letter to each one of the credit bureaus disputing any negative information that a creditor has placed on my credit bureaus.
The thing to remember when you’re disputing information through the mail with any of the 3 major credit bureaus is that -you must follow this simple format:
You should first use your full legal name, home address, your social security number, company you dispute name, their address, today’s date, RE; Acct#12345678910-12345678910 and in the body of the letter it should state as follows:
“Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to dispute information found on my credit report. The item I wish to dispute is listed below and I have highlighted the copy of the credit report attached to this letter.
It is very important to put in this dispute letter, that you are requesting that the item be verified and that you are given the name and phone number and address of the person that verified the information listed on my credit report.
You should state in your letter that, “Under the fair debt collection practices act (FDPA) I have the right to request validation of the debt you say I owe.
I am requesting proof that I am indeed the person you are asking to pay this debt and that there is some contractual obligation which is binding on me to pay this debt” Be aware that reporting invalidated information constitutes defamation of character as the negative marks on my credit report harm my credit and prevent me from enjoying the benefits of having good credit Please check with your legal staff as you will see that non compliance with this request could but your company in legal trouble with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other Federal and State Agencies” These are the things that you want when validating a debt.
Original creditors name, because it is very important to know who the original creditor is so that you can deal with just them instead of the collection agency.
The exact name of the debtor, that means that they have to provide you with the exact name of the debtor, that means the name of the person that the credit was issued to.
Next, they need to provide the address of the debtor, and the balance of the account, the date the debt was acquired, the date the debt was assigned, and the date the debt was purchased, and any credit bureaus that the debt was reported to.
These are the things that you’re going to ask for in the letter disputing the negative information on your credit report(s).
If you just do these few simple things you should be able to personally remove lots of the negative information listed on your credit reports.
What I will suggest to you is that you may want to order Donna Fox’s book, “From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire” as I did to learn all of her trade mark secrets in eliminating bad credit and creating millionaires credit.
Reading her book taught me many secrets in boosting my own personal credit, like, Credit Gifting.
This crafty little technique shows you how to increase your credit score by simply having a friend or family member add you to one or two of their credit cards, that have a good payment history over a long period of time, a year or two or more.
I have had several friends do this, and their credit scores have jumped up 100 points.
Donna Fox has truly mastered the art of credit repair and credit building, and I strongly believe that her book “From Credit Repair To Credit Millionaire” could change your life.
I Don’t Have Time to Clean Up My Own Credit
If you are one of those people that just don’t have the time to clean up your own credit or you just don’t believe that you have what it takes to do it yourself.
Then what I’m going to suggest to you is you hire a professional, licensed, credit repair company like one of my favorites, “Direct Credit” I personally have used Direct Credit for those hard to get off negatives on my own credit profiles.
They are one of the few organizations that do credit repair that I would refer to anyone.
The owner of Direct Credit has been in the field of credit repair and counseling for over 15 years. You should contact Carla Carlson at (909) 899-8465 and set up a consultation to see what she can do for you.
Once again I have to state that I personally think that you can do it yourself, unless you don’t have enough time.
So remember Carla Carlson at (909) 899-8565 if you need hands on assistance in cleaning up your creditGet $200,000-$300,000 in Business Lines of Credit.
I have found the greatest way to create $200,000-$3000, 000 in business lines credit, in my first two months of using the Thomas Kisch “Cash Flow Experts” program.
I was able to get $50,000 in business lines of credit that do not report or show on my personal credit. It’s like having $50,0000 in credit cards that no one knows about.
Thomas Kisch’s program can show you how to create hundreds of thousands that never show up on your personal credit, as long as you make your minimal monthly payments.
It is proven to be the easiest way to create cash that I’ve ever run across.
It amazed me that those banks and credit card companies, that would only give me a $500 or $1000 line of credit as a individual, would give me $8,000 -$30,000 per credit card.
Just simply because I set up a business and requested the credit for my business instead of for myself even though it was still based one my credit score.
Without knowing it I had used these methods in the past but did not realize how powerful they were. How much money can be gotten until I used the Thomas Kish program.
The only thing that you really need to do is to start a business and incorporate your new business, and then start applying for your new lines of credit with the specific banks and credit card companies that Thomas Kish suggests that you use in his program.
I am personally and completely sold on Thomas’s Kish program and believe in it 110% because it is working for me so well.
